Billabong Cottage Reviews
Quiet getaway
Lovely space for a quiet getaway. The billabong and the boat for having a row around it were our favourites. We visited to see the Hunter Valley Gardens lights and it was very close to that which was great. We should have packed more food with us for the trip but the local shops were not hard to find and just a bit of a drive away to stock up.

We absolutely loved our stay and we were blown away with how beautiful/peaceful the location is, how close we were to everything and can’t wait to come stay again. Nothing to improve, the 3 of us loved our stay and hope to come back and stay again

Perfect spot
Lovely place, feels very private. Really clean & some nice touches. Bottle of wine provided which was generous. The swimming pool is lovely and there are so many wineries & breweries close by. Perfect spot. Also great customer service building up to the trip.

Such a relaxing time
Wonderful stay. We had such a relaxing time on the property. We were there over Christmas and were greeted with decorations, fairy lights and delicious Christmas treats. Loved swimming in the pool. The cottage felt very private and the shower and bed were terrific. Our dog pikkles loved her stay also.

Perfect location for our wedding
We stayed at The Manor as a base for our wedding. Easy access for make up, hair stylist, photographer and videographer to do their work easily. As a blended family it was comfortable and convenient to prepare for our Wedding at Peterson House. Highly recommend The Manor for a family stay.

Very spacious and comfortable
We were a group of 8 staying in The Manor, which is the largest house on the estate (there are another 2 bedroom houses and 3 studios). The manor had 4 bedrooms, 3 living rooms and 3 kitchens (the main kitchen and 2 kitchenettes). Very spacious and comfortable, contemporary design and excellent furnishings and fittings. The wood fireplace will be lovely in winter. Tasteful Christmas decorations in the living room added a special touch. The location is peaceful and easy to access - maximum 15 minutes drive to anywhere in the Hunter Valley you’re likely to visit. The shared pool was perfect for the very hot weather. There seemed to be only 2 other guests in the entire estate, so we felt we had it to ourselves. The grounds are immaculately maintained, and we saw wallabies in the early morning. The only tiny criticism is the air conditioning struggled with the 43 degree heat, but was perfectly comfortable once the temperature dropped back below 40 degrees! I would love to return again!

Lots of space for all of us
We had a lovely weekend at the Manor at Billabong Moon. Lots of space for all of us. Enjoyed sitting on the verandah having breakfast listening to the birds. Staff at Hunter Valley stays were very helpful.

Our stay was excellent
Our stay was excellent. The location was superb - everything was at our doorstep. The house itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our hosts were always just a quick text message away. I would recommend to anyone heading to the Hunter Valley.

Absolutely beautiful manor
Absolutely beautiful manor, we were blown away from the moment we pulled through the driveway. The grounds are stunning, the manor itself is phenomenal, and the ensuite off the main bedroom was the icing on the cake with dual showerheads and its bi-fold doors opening up into a beautiful zen garden. It was the perfect location for our private wedding and we are so grateful that we were able to marry each other in such a beautiful building! Keep doing what you're doing! The bookings team were helpful and friendly, and granted us early check in which was so kind of them, 10/10 would come again.

Just beautiful!
We went to a wedding at Peppers. The Manor was perfect for my large family, with the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for everyone to get ready. Will definitely book a longer stay next time! Highly recommend this house, just beautiful!

A great stay in Pokolbin. Our favourite winery visit was right next door (Hunter wine labs). Really quick and responsive busy and exactly as described! Well equipped and perfectly laid out for a nice stay.
