Tree Tops is one of six private cottages set on the popular Sweetacres (formerly Billabong Moon) located on the Hunter’s famous Hermitage Road, Pokolbin. Imagine your very own self-contained treehouse set amongst a large canopy of beautiful, swaying casuarina trees. This is the experience at Tree Tops at Sweetacres Hunter Valley.

Elevated more than three metres above the ground, you’ll be in the tree line to enjoy the beautiful natural environment. Designed as a secluded private spa retreat for two guests, Tree Tops has all you will need for a memorable stay within its open plan design. The accommodation features a king bed, indoor corner spa bath and separate bathroom, combustion wood fireplace, a compact self-contained kitchen with Nespresso machine, Smart TV, BBQ and a truly romantic outdoor bath.
Perfect for all seasons with air-conditioning and fan, enjoy a sleep-in as the cool breeze travels through the trees, or in winter, stock up the fire, and snuggle up next to the wood combustion fireplace for a romantic night in with local cheese, chocolate, and wine. Descend and wander through the woodlands to your own private claw-foot bathtub for a hot bath under the fairy lights, amongst the trees.

Tree Tops at Sweetacres offers so much peace, relaxation, and enjoyment for guests onsite as well as being ideally located to take advantage of the many cellar doors, restaurants, attractions, and activities within moments of your cottage. Sample the delights of Hermitage Road and dine at Botanica, and Piggs Peake. Sample excellent food and brew at The Farm where you can horse ride, take a Segway tour, or meet the animals! Enjoy terrific hospitality whilst wine-tasting at neighbouring Hunter Wine Lab, Wombat Crossing, Thomas Wines, Ironbark Hill Brewhouse, Keith Tulloch or Tintilla. For the active at heart, take a bush walk around Sweetacres’ walking tracks past the billabong and the casuarina woodlands or, wander across the lawn to enjoy The Deck leisure area or a dip in the refreshing shared Guest saltwater pool.
